Every woman is an individual, and therefore has different results whether before a pregnancy or after.   Your breasts will enlarge and will go through all the usual changes associated with pregnancy.   The amount of enlargement will vary from woman to woman, and the size of the implants will factor into this as well.

What is an ideal weight for breast...

Some patients wonder if they should be at an ideal weight before having breast augmentation surgery. We tell them they should be close to their ideal weight. A significant loss of weight after receiving breast implants could alter the results in a manner that is not satisfactory to them. There could be some ptosis or drooping and a reduction in size as the patient loses breast volume. A significant gain in weight could cause an increase in breast size.

Will my breasts still move like normal breasts? This depends on multiple factors, such as the type of breast implant you have, the placement of the implant, the way your body holds the implant and whether or not there is any degree of capsular contracture. It is possible for many women to have breast implants that are soft and move nicely, while other women have results that are firmer and with an implant more fixed in position.

What is Involved in a Tummy Tuck...

Women often ask me what is involved in having a tummy tuck or abdominoplasty. I also explain to them that they may benefit from an abdominoplasty done in conjunction with liposuction to remove fat deposits from the…

Breast Lift Surgery: Is ths Surgical...

I have many friends who have had children, and once done breastfeeding, are unhappy with the appearance of their breasts. Over coffee, they ask me questions about breast lift surgery. I explain that a mastopexy or “breast lift”, is a surgical procedure to raise and reshape sagging breasts. As they are aware, factors such as pregnancy, breast-feeding and aging take their toll on a woman’s breasts.
